Aperture is a hole or an opening that is being made from the lens. The bigger the aperture the more focused the photo will be. The smaller the aperture the less focused it is. Aperture is measured using the f-stop scale (e.g. F4.5, F11, F22). The number is a sign of how wide the aperture is, in which affects the exposure and depth of field. Aperture can affect the depth of the field by the way it defines the photo, it is the sharpness in front and behind the subject in which the lens is focused.

My first time using a DSLR camera was disparate because it was another way to view the world through a variety of perspectives. Though this was not the first time I had picked up a camera. Rule of thirds is the basis for well balanced and interesting shots, it shows that a picture is more pleasing when its subjects or regions are taken along imaginary lines which divide the image into thirds. It can make your picture look more professional. By having the subject in one of the sections of the imaginary line made the model stand out by by having him at different angles other than being centered.
